I don't think that they want to. Besides, it is war against Assad as how it started with and now it is also war against ISIS.
They don't want to be Syrians, they want to be Germans, French, British, Swedish and so on. Though learning the language, culture, religion, etc. seems to be secondary.

It's gonna start getting cold, they are gonna start rioting again because they simply can't help themselves, the european right will gain more power and by next year's migrant season everyone's outlook will be different.

And I don't think this should be a left/right issue. The left should be just as concerned about it as the right is without everyone accusing the right of being racist. This is an existential problem for Europe and western civilization as a whole.
