Rand,
Cool, I'm actually in LA county, so I was thinking of shooting down there some time and meeing the crew as well as getting briefed on some stuff by Keith. Btw, we met in Vancouver, met you with Keith and Jeff. |

Rand is it going to be possible to transfer funds from my epassporte account to my bank? And has epassporte been promoted to non-adult webmasters yet?

Sounds good. Get with Keith and you guys work out a good day and we can go have lunch in the Marina. |
Jact,
Please tell me exactly where you sent your email and what the subject line was. I have no email in my epassporte box from today or yesterday that has not been responded to. Either you didn't actually send me an email or there is a problem somewhere that needs to be fixed. FYI - I write between 50-100 emails every day. If you don't get an answer there's a problem. And btw, you can always pick up the phone. |

Choker, moving $$ from EP to your bank account is indeed something that webmasters want and epassporte is working to make happen. There will be news about this soon. As for the non-adult market, epassporte expects that it's largest market will actually be non-adult. It was launched, however, in this market for obvious distribution reasons and because Epoch is the technology behind epassporte is was a logical fit. What do they say about your VCR? The Internet? All brought to you by adult entertainment. Why do you ask? |

I have NO email from you. I checked with Jeff Southworth and he indeed received it. He is responding to you as I post. Since you sent it today I would think you should allow at least some amount of time before ranting on a board. Not to mention, that Jeff, Kimmy and I were in a meeting together most of the day today and frequently away from our email. Kimmy's probably just got back to Arizona and I can pretty much guarantee that wether or not she received an email from you that you will be hearing from her. |

Jact,
You still didn't tell me where you sent the email. From: "Webmaster" To: Subject: Epassporte If there is a problem I want it fixed and I assure you that you are not being ignored. What would be the point? Also, there is no charge to call me if you are in the U.S. or Canada. Further, I wouldn't believe everything you read on any BBS. You might want to know something about our services first hand before listening to someone who might cause you to miss out on a good thing. |

Your website lists the 800# for regular clients only, business and corporate customers must dial direct. I've been trying to, unfortunately.. it hasn't been working. Can you save everyone some hastle and let us know if your product can be used for processing for Canadian and International businesses? What are the costs involved and how does one go about getting setup? Since these details aren't on your website. |

I must say epassprote has had a lot of problems the last few weeks, but I figured they were growing pains and even when my account got froze, and for a long time errors on the balance, I never even bothered to email you guys as I know and trust Epoch a lot. Even if Paypal did not make this decision to get out of porn, I am really getting tired of some of their crap they have been pulling on my account without notification. Just yesterday a transaction was reversed on me from 3 months ago, it did not show up in my account just a email I got. No reason given or anything. That is no way to do business. |
Ok. [email protected] is an address for epassporte account holder inquires. I agree you should have received some sort of reply, but that is actually the wrong address to inquire about obtaining an account. And no, I don't get those emails.
I work double duty for both Epoch and epassporte. You are welcome to call Epoch toll free at 800-627-3888 and ask for me or anyone in sales to enquire about epassporte. Are you saying you've been trying to use an 800 number to call epassporte and it is not working? Please let me know the number you called and what you experienced. Let's help each other out. As for acceptance of epassporte, yes, it can be accepted globally. There are no charges to open a commercial account and a personal account only has load fees to get going. I would need to know more about what you're trying to accomplish to give you the best answer to your needs. My address is [email protected] if you have any questions you do not want to post on a public forum. If you don't get a response within a day (and usually minutes if I'm available) you should call me. I'm here to help. http://www.epochsystems.com/images/epass_120x60.gif |

I hear your pain. I've heard this a lot with PayPal. Thanks for the good words, and yes, epassporte has had some issues but they are being resolved as they appear. A new epassporte website launches soon (probably next week) and I think it will make things a lot easier on everyone. We should arrange a conference call between us and Jeff Southworth to discuss your idea and come up with a workable agreement for your epassporte account needs. Why don't you drop me an email and we'll go from there. |

Jact, You've got mail. :) |

Jact should have lots of mail since I did indeed just walk in the door.
We've spent several hours today, as we do about every week to ten days, in the office meeting about ePassporte issues, strategy and the other stuff that goes with launching a brand new product, especially in a venue that expects things to work correctly, scale almost unlimitedly and do both from the first, as everyone in adult, including myself, expects from technology. However, as you are all aware, there are sometimes things that come up that are beyond the control of man or machine for short periods of time... Backov and I have experienced it with Spotbrokers and I am sure that every one of you has had a computer crash, a program not work right, you name it... personally I've not once in nearly 7 years managed to install a cgi script that worked, so hey, I go another route now ;) I've been in card processing for quite some time, in one form or another, and it's amazing to me that a system that is supposed to be standardized is nowhere near that on a global scale. But in the same way that America West declines my Paypal Mastercard EVERY DAMN TIME I try to buy a ticket online -- due to a bad address, even if I CUT AND PASTE the address from Paypal -- (anyone want to bet it's Paypal's improper support for CVC2?) -- there are going to be issues with merchant technology that occur. These things will be updated, the cc companies are forcing this to happen, but it's not going to happen overnight. Speaking of that same America West, heck they still use one of those machines where they stick your card and a carbon in it and hand slide it if you are doing a transaction at the gate instead of the ticket counter. At the end of the day, would you rather deal with people you know, and know that you have access to, or people you don't know, can't get ahold of and have a funny habit of heisting money from accounts for 6 months or more with no warning? |
