...it just didn't go well - too many broken hips, torn shoulders...had to bring the defibulator kit out twice to shock grandpa.
Naw, the wife and I had tickets to see a tribute show (Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Linn, John Denver and Glen Campbell) - all talented impersonators and musicians. One of the guys played session gigs with Shania Twain...another was one of The Good Brothers band. The guy who played Cash really nailed him during some songs, especially "Burning Ring of Fire".
It was a great show - despite the fact we were literally the youngest in the crowd at the dinner theatre. Everyone else was on an evening pass from the local seniors center it seemed. The wife and I were gonna take a supply of Depends and Dr. Scholls products and sell them to seniors at ridiculous price mark-ups.
Not sure if the show was worth the $60 we paid for the tickets - but what the hell...it was a night out.
