I think most of us plan to leave the alcohol till the weekends but as you know it isn't always the case. Most week nights I find myself having a few beers whether it's still working or just watching some sports on TV. Then the weekend usually always involves alcohol both days on a higher scale. Whether i'm out somewhere or not. Not excessive drinking but still....

For real, on one day in these days. Though in the past I have drink on 3-4 days in a week about 2-3 drinks in a day. Not much variation about the amount whether weekend or during working day. Another though, I have also been not drinking pretty much at all in the past.

I used to drink more regularly but these days I too am in the "nada" camp. A couple of years ago I simply stopped buying booze. The odd time I've had a glass of wine or a beer to be sociable, but very rarely.
Fact is lately if I drink much more than one it gives me a headache. Never used to, but there you have it. And yes, I've had a brain scan recently --- they didn't find anything.

I try to stick to my rule of no alcohol the night before I'll be working so typically Sunday until Thursday no booze, unless it is a special occasion like someones birthday or a celebration dinner, I'll have 2 beers max then home.
I usually have my booze on a Saturday in summer because I golf early, finish with a pint or two then home to have a lazy pool day with a few beers then BBQ and more beers/wine.
In winter I drink on Friday nights and then don't bother the rest of the week. Every winter I do a minimum of 30 days no alcohol, usually Feb 1 until I give in, this year I lasted 56 days alcohol free, next year the goal is 75 days.Comment

I have pretty much quit drinking beer. The last blow was the information that the hops is highly estrogen associated ingredient (makes some reaction in the body). Probably associated with the manboobs too; too much alcohol + hops-> manboobs.Comment

Drinking on regular basis here. 1 or 2 days per week get drunk, other 2 days I take only a few dram of whisky, single malt or scotch in the evening, the rest I'm clean. Not proud of that, but trying to get rid of this fucking bad habit.Comment
