How do you guys avoid getting sick at vegas? - GoFuckYourself.com

I went out there for the weekend to look at some property and party a little. Ever since Monday I've been REALLY sick... coughing, headache, body aches, chills, fever, etc.

I haven't been sick like this in a LONG time.

I'm about to go back up this weekend to look at a little more property and I don't want to get sick like this again

thata all part of vegas and the smoke filled rooms there big rooms so a lot of times you dont realize it but it happens to everyone better known as convention crud

After the convention I had the same thing and for about two-three weeks. Wash your hands always even if you go for a little walk in Vegas. You have no idea how many people are touching the cards you touch, shake the handsyou shake or even touch the elevator button.

That is my peice of advice.

When I first visited Vegas, I got sick as well......so has everyone that I know who has been to Vegas. I live here now though and very seldom get sick. I agree that it has a bit to do with your immune system not being used to the factors in the environment. But I also think it may have to do with the fact that most people wear down their immune systems while they are out here........staying up all hours of the night, surviving on 2 hours of sleep per day, drinking, drinking and more drinking and then once you get home it all catches up to you!

Instant hand sanitizer. Use a glob of that shit after you touch anything. You touch a slot machine, squirt. You touch a door handle, squirt. Touch a nipple, squirt.

Also, do not touch your face for any reason. This will keep disease vectors away from your eyes, nose and mouth (most common infection points).
