    News Police fire on illegal immigrants

    Macedonian police shoot stun grenades at migrant families stuck in no-man's land - Independent.ie

    This happened on the Greek-Macedonian border -- tragic story really ...

    Could this be the US-Mexico border in 2018? Assuming that by 2018 a 'President Trump' has dramatically improved the US economy more illegal immigrants would want the 'good (low paying)' jobs returned home under a Trump administration's (theoretical) policies that candidate Trump is unable to explain.

                                  Many people would do the same, but one person's plight is not always another's. And while we can always be empathetic, does not mean we always have to be sympathetic and offer a solution. I see homeless people every day begging for money. I'm empathetic with their situation, but I do not give them money, I have my own life to worry about.

                                  If I was hungry and had absolutely no other options, I would steal food. The shop keeper does not have to like it, nor do they have to sit on the sidelines and watch me do it. It's their right as well to fight back.

                                      Why should Macedonia allow them in, they are not refugees, they are illegal economic migrants even in Greece. The moment they pushed the boat off the shore of Turkey they ceased to be refugees and became illegal economic migrants in search of a better life, they have no right to support from any government in Europe, even Greece. The only reason children are being put at risk is because their parents are using them as tools to try and elicit sympathy from the police to gain entry to Macedonia. Allowing these immigrants in could collapse Macedonia's infrastructure, the government is doing the right thing in protecting their country, unlike a lot of other governments in the EU who just pass the problem on to other countries further north or west.

                                                                          These refugees are just seeking safe passage to Western Europe to live like humans. I can't really fault them (the refugees). The US and NATO are responsible to some degree and should assimilate these people if these refugees have no hostile political agendas toward the host countries.

                                                                          Most refugees are economic refugees. They want a better life and should be willing to work for it. I have no problem with revoking a refugee's residency status if they are an unreasonable economic burden. If members of their family work and pay taxes what is wrong with that?

                                                                                      Can't fault them, but Germany alone is supposed to get 800k of them this year. They are going to cost the taxpayers 10 billion euros/year. Some states are already talking about raising taxes.

                                                                                      We accepted 150 into poland a month ago or so and they are already complaining they got too small of a free apartment and get too little free money per month. Apparently most of them were expecting to come here, live like kings for free and then return to Syria after the war.

                                                                                      My wife's uncle is a truck driver. Drives from Poland to UK - he said when he got to calais last time it was completely black. He was scared shitless and turned on all his lights and many scampered off into bushes.

                                                                                      Economic or war refugees or what, europe cannot fucking support 2-3 million leeches on it's social system. Why the fuck should we pay to support them for years before they "get on thier feet" (if they intend to do so at all)?
