Still not sure why the hackers did this though. First the hackers say it is because Ashley Madison charges users to scrub their data. But then the hackers release all the private customers data, and say it is to embarrass the people that sign up for these sites.Comment

Well the scum bags at AM had ample time to comply and they didn't. Now they can eat crow. I love it, it's a win win situation for everyone. AM gets what has been coming to them for a long time, the cheaters get exposed and now they will lose up to 50% of their assets, they may be fired from their jobs, those spouses who were cheated on can get a clean break by divorcing these cheaters, those with pre nups can cash in or void them as some prenuptials have infidelity clauses.
