    Business .XXX Domains Breaking Through

I do a lot of research on keywords and I have seen a big spike in .XXX domains ranking for valuable keywords.

Some of this is the adoption of .xxx by some tubes, however less obvious examples of domains are starting the break into the rankings.

pornburst.xxx have 184 keywords on page 1 and of those around 39 are highly competitive.

yes.xxx is killing it with keywords like "hd porn" which has between 2.47 million and 4.3 million searches per month. The site has hovered between number 1 and number 5 for that keyword. They are on page one for 22 high traffic keywords.

Of the several thousand keywords that I track, I see .XXX domains more and more over time.

There are plenty more examples where this same scenario is playing out.

So the question is, did the .XXX naysayers get it wrong ? Or are we seeing owners of properties with pockets full of cash really work their SEO efforts ?

I am ranking several sites for major keywords right now in mainstream and adult using other TLDs. It definitely is possible to rank with non-dot-coms. While it's true that .xxx ranks well, so do all of the other new TLDs. Google paid 25M for .App and rebranded as ABC.XYZ when they do not own ABC.com - they are doing all they can to tell people that non-dot-com domains have value in their algorithm now.

Where .xxx really shines is that you can pick up .porn, .adult and others for the same name if you buy them - wish that was the case with other TLDs where it definitely is not.

Yup, many of the non-dot-coms can rank well, it's not just xxx.
