It's a bit rough that they include detailed information about the case and the defendant. Is it authentic? Everything comes off the domain isonews.com. If it was real, wouldn't it be more credible to redirect to a .gov address?

Yes, it is real. Try searching for information about it on any of the major news sites and you'll see quite a bit of information about it.
