How do You Think Trump Did in Tonights Debate? I thought he did Good but critics are saying he didn't do so well. I hope it didn't hurt his numbers in the polls. I would like to see him become president.

He offended the fat women of America with the Rosie O'Donnell remark. He's not only a windbag but a very uncouth as an aspirant to he highest office in the land. The way he is talking I think he would turn America into a giant trailer park with The Donald collecting the rent.
I don't care how much money he has made being a sleaze. Trump represents the worst ideals in America and that is why he has so many fan-boys -- The Donald is a national disgrace. Trump reminds me of Billionaire ex Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (his hero). He will do for America what Berlusconi did for Italy

people still don't get that he has so many fans because they are so pissed off with the career politicians? It's the situation people are loving, not that they actually want trump as a leader.
That's my assumption anyway, the greatest thing to happen to politics for years (ever?). Finally the people have a chance to show the current system exactly what they think of it - it's fucking beautiful, and America is lucky it's happening to them. Same thing with Farage here recently - nobody sane believed he should actually be the PM, and it was a couple of years too early anyway, but here's to a further voice of dissent from the UK public come the next election

Being arrogant and calling people (ethnic groups) names is a new fresh start for politicians? By who's standards -- the trailer trash voters in America?
Trump is just a troll. He is calling out the political establishment with the lowest common denominator insults. Save that shit for reality TV drama for the mindless. This guy is Reagan reloaded but the puppet has his own agenda and not that of his handlers ...
Being obnoxious and arrogant with mega-bucks from NYC is not going to play well nationally ...Comment

again - it's not the man, or what he stands for, or for that matter what he particularly says - it's 2 fingers up at the current system and a declaration of how sick people are of career politicians and their complete bullshit, and all round ineptitude.
Or are you saying politicians are fine and dandy, and you are happy with how things are? There is no chance in hell he'll make president, and most likely won't even be the republican guy (from the little I read), so stop panicking. It's all about a much needed reality check for career politicians and the view they hold of themselves, and their role as servants of the populace.
*what* he says is secondary to *that* end.Comment

No, but I refuse to buy Trump's supporters' ''angry white man's bullshit.''
I am not interested in an imaginary enemy and know the true enemy is within.
The "Mexican" wetback illegal cannot do my job he is no threat to me. I am not at all interested in mocking the Fat Girls -- or name calling ... That is political leadership with a vision? Bernie Sanders to the other extreme is ranting and raving about others being successful in many cases without intending to harm. There are scumbags evading the laws make the laws more equitable. But don't transfer earned wealth to a population without the ability to earn it.
Cut military spending 50% and increase spending on education and an equitable public heath system. What happened to the will of my parent's generation ?

They believed in a goal and worked for it. They had a vision of an American dream. There are a long list of Americans and American politicians that did execute a vision of American prosperity and morality.

Today we have a clown show:

This is not progress this a desire for retrogression.Comment

yep. He is too obsessed with his own agenda. He said in one of the replies above: "I refuse to buy Trump's supporters' ''angry white man's bullshit.''"
So whenever you tell him that is what is actually happening (and it's not just "white" men, it's everybody)...he basically is telling you that you are lying and it's all bullshit.
And yes...apparently he is very content with the great job that lifetime/career bureaucrats have done in making everything so great (18 TRILLION dollar debt, wars, spying, etc, etc)
@Barry...dude it's not Trump that people are loving. It's the lying politicians that they are sending a message of their displeasure to.
That's why nothing he says or does hurts him. Trump is not the point.
And that you can't see that and think that everyone whom is dissatisfied with being stuck with the same old bullshit lineup of bureaucrats is lying about it and are all lowest common denominator...just shows your bias.
Did you say the same thing about all black people voting for Barrack Obama? Of course not.
But yet you are quick to dismiss a very real movement amongst citizens.
Newsflash: The true lowest common denominator people don't take polls, don't watch the news, and don't vote.-Robbie

Traits necessary to be successful as a politician are also necessary to effectively govern. Sucks but it's true.

If you actually believe that statement -- let me make 'it Crystal Clear' :
Trump's poll numbers are from the lowest denominator voters -- if they actually used registered Republican voters -- I assume they did. I would like to see a regional breakout too.
I have no fucking agenda, I gave up on changing the world when I was 17.Comment

Trumps agenda:
Ban Fat Girls;
Deport all the undocumented workers so Americans can clean toilets and be gardeners;
Ban Fox news -- they don't play ball.
Bernie Sanders agenda:
Make a deal with Iran now no matter how bad it will be (?);
Eat the rich;
Eat the rich.
Both extremes want to bring back the past manufacturing glory to America that Third World labor can do for 1/3 of the price.
What a vision and plan
