Any black man who has watched the news in the past year or so might honestly feel that way. It will be interesting to see how the courts address what could be considered a reasonable fear for one's life.

And don't tell me a cop, seeing some black guys in a car, and being proficient in basic math, hasn't mentally figured out there is at least one felon in the car.

Right, everyone of those black men was on his way to church and baby shower when they got owned. None had multiple convictions or committed crime.

I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is that the news coverage invariably leads the stories with 'cop shoots unarmed black man' which can be argued to have created a climate of fear.
