if the small sample of hilary supporter reaction in this thread is any guide, then forget about turnout for hilary in november. the race is all about turnout. all the polls will have hilary winning, until she loses & everyone wonders why. well its because the people that voted hilary in a poll didnt get off the couch when it counted.

Kaine is an odd choice. Its been rumored the past week, but I didn't understand the play much. Other than his ability to speak and pander directly to the Spanish speaking folks, he does very little to the ticket for her. He doesn't excite the Sanders faction. He doesn't excite the youth. He does nothing to make sure the black faction of voters turns out in Obama levels. He is like Clinton on trade deals, which does nothing to keep the blue collar dems in the mid-west from jumping ship to Trump, who is to the left of her on that issue.

He ties up the Hispanic vote & strongly appeals to conservative Republican Hispanics as he's a devout Catholic, anti abortion, speaks fluent Spanish and has worked educating and getting jobs for Hispanics for over 30 years.
With Trump pegging Hispanics as murders & rapists Kaine is there with arms wide open for disaffected would be Republican Hispanics & solidifies independent & Democratic Hispanics.

His appeal to Hispanics is the ONLY thing he brings, like I said. Democrats have that % on lock already. He won't get more than 1% of Republican hispanics though.
If the black vote goes back to 2000-2004 levels, then its all for naught. Same as the youth vote. They can't stand Clinton. She has a LOT of work to do to get them to the polls.
