    Monetizing tumblr

    Hey
So I have this tumbr blog with about 700-800 uniqes a day. %95 from google. And traffic is increasing...Is there anything I can do with that blog that will earn me something? I know tumblr have strict rules about this kind of things.

If you do, you risk having it banned.

If you don't, then you're doing it for nothing and just wasting time that could be put into other activities that can make you money (business-wise at least. If it's for personal enjoyment then carry on of course.)

Put a backlinks from this tumblr to a landing page you create with your affiliate code, from there send them to the money offer.

Dude, did you try to advertise cams? Recently I've started to promote it on my blogs, it works well for me.

Approach any free blog service or a social media site that does not EXPLICITLY allow adult content as a ''throw-a-way.''

I have reached that conclusion as of late -- it's an ''at-risk'' proposition -- approach it that way -- ride the tiger but be ready for disasters

Or if a landing page is too risky, could you use it as a simple traffic feeder into another site that you used with advertising in place?

Example: you have a Kim Kardashian Tumblr and then a general celebrity blog on a domain of your own. The general celebrity blog has a Kim Kardashian section. Every now and then the Kim Kardashian Tumblr links over to the Kim Kardashian section of the celebrity blog, pushing over traffic.

Traffic may be small, but should be pretty qualified clicked traffic. If the funnel was right, the small quantity of traffic should still generate revenue/book markers.

If someone on the Tumblr team is reviewing your blog and they are having a bad day they may delete it for no reason at all.

About your example above; that is a better way to monetize and is less likely to get your account banned but again, if they believe that you are making money they will terminate your account.

To play their game you have to set up yours to incorporate that aspect of it.

I do very well monetizing Tumblr using the various plugins they have to automate things. You can get some decent traffic using it in conjunction with Facebook and Google +

You can use nude photos but I've found using non nude sexy shots work best.
