                                                          Plus, where is the originality in your branding? Taking the look and feel of the landing pages and wording from Adult Friend Finder and calling it your own is not going to propel your sites above the crowd.

                                                                          This is a perfect example of why the adult industry is collapsing. On any other 'business' forum, if a potential retailer was to ask a manufacturer to sell them on the merits of their product, the manufacturer would do do everything they could to yell from the mountain tops, preaching the virtues of their product.

                                                                          In the adult industry, if an affiliate program is asked to sell us on the virtues (or in this case...are there ANY real female members), the response is pretty much "but look, it's a real pretty color".

                                                                          The mainstream equivelent...Retailer says to manufacturer, "Doesn't the paint on your child's toy contain lead and radioactive isotopes?"

                                                                                          My teen site has 13% of female traffic according to google, milf site has 12 %. Though it would still be quite sausage fest, about 10 guys for every chick.

                                                                                          But to serious shit:

                                                                                          The women probably won't join through banners depicting lusty teens, etc.. There has to be different kinds of banners for them. And here is a business suggestion: offer bigger PPS/ revshare for female members (paid to webmasters). Even clubs and bars let women in free/ cheaper, etc., but in this case you would have to offer the incentive to webmasters. Bars/clubs are very good example; sausage fest doesn't serve anyone's interests.. besides gay dating.

(Similar to dating, in that the number of members in your own region is much more important then the number of members system wide).

                                                                                                          Would Apple launch the service with zero members, charge full price, and then let the fallout occur when for the first few months you might be the only member in your region? Nope, they would develop the site and member base through incentives or what not to existing clientelle from their other products, and then launch the site only when there is enough of a user base to provide the members with real value.

                                                                                                          Is Datetronix doing anything like this? Who knows. Like virtually all of the other dating sites pushed on GFY, the details provided don't go any further than 'but isn't it pretty".

They had something like tens or hundreds of millions revenue, but only one real women in their service (they ended up in court for scam).

We (as affiliates) and the dating companies itself are selling a fantasy to the dumbass guys who sign up to the sites thinking they are going to find dates and hot girls to bang. It's an illusion and the greatest trick ever pulled next to the devil convincing the world he doesn't exist.

                                                                                                                      The reality is that the ratio of "real" women to men signups are going to be very low and the likelihood of a hot girl signing up to dating sites are going to be low. What you get are

                                                                                                                      1. Generated female profiles created by some indian
                                                                                                                      2. Hookers on the site
                                                                                                                      3. Mentally unstable/psychotic Kathy Bates in "Misery" types
                                                                                                                      4. And a very tiny amount of normal girls.

                                                                                                                      But the dumb guys keep coming back for more, it's a perfect storm, all you need is the hype/marketing/shiny look to make the site popular and the sheep will come.

And take a look at their branding and messaging. Everything is designed to encourage a member base consisting of a healthy mix of both sexes.

                                                                                                                                          It is not a trick, it is a scam, and we did already know it. Neither it is about selling fantasy, selling fantasies are more clearly that, what you described is just a scam even though it includes fantasy element.

                                                                                                                                          I give you an example what selling fantasy is: when I visited Lapland (Finnish Lapland) with my parents as a kid: there was an opportunity to try out gold panning and I even bought a pan and a sand bag with tiny bits of gold in there (as a souvenir). It was about selling gold digging fantasy. However there is much gold related scams; there is fucking difference between a scam and selling a fantasy (legitimately).

You have a large pool of "real" females and a small pool of "rich men". While there may be some fake profiles, the majority of the profiles on an arrangement site is real.

In most cases, these sugar daddy relationships last on average between 3 months - x number of years. It's different than reeling in a sucker on a regular dating site who will renew his membership over and over because these "fake" profile girls message him and there is a glimmer of hope that he will get laid

                                                                                                                                                  The main difference is that you won't get too many recurring memberships from these rich men because the women practically throw themselves at the men the minute they sign up because it's like a free for all among the women because the women outnumber the men by a large margin.
