    News WWE terminates contract with Hulk Hogan

    World Wrestling Entertainment has terminated its contract with legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan. The organization released a statement on Friday morning: "WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."

    Late Thursday night, WWE removed virtually all references to Hogan from its website. The WWE has not yet given an official reason for the removal, although widespread speculation has centered on comments that Hogan may have made.

    Hogan has been one of professional wrestling's marquee attractions since the 1980s, and recently reunited with the WWE following a six-year absence. Until the removal, his landing page (WWE.com: The Official Site of the WWE Universe)

          Yep, he was filmed without his knowledge fucking a girl a few years back. They sold the sex tape of it.
          He sued "Gawker" to get the tape down and then brought a lawsuit against them that is in court now.

          That was a huge mistake on his part. Because the full tape is part of the case. And on that tape...a wasted and naked Hogan at 3 in the morning is ranting about his daughter Brooke fucking a black guy and uses THE one word that he should never have used.

          He's done now. WWE fired him from Tough Enough, fired him completely from WWE, removed all of his merchandise for sale, and removed him from the "Alumni" section of their website.

          He just got destroyed financially.

                      Second time within a week that I have heard about Gawker taking part in a sequence of events that essentially ruined lives. Is that on their mission statement?

                                                                                  There's a different kind of etiquette in wrestling. This video is funny as fuck, but the backstory here is that Shawn Michaels lost to Hogan at Wrestlemania (or something), and in return, Hogan was supposed to lose to Michaels at Summerslam. Right before Summerslam, Hogan gave some sob story about his back acting up and didn't want to lose the match. So Michaels agreed to lose, but completely oversells the entire match. I wanted to embed a youtube clip, but they all suck. The most comprehensive version I found was on daily motion:

The problem is you can't say anything in this day and age without someone calling you a racist. Even if your comment was not racist to start of with but a fact.

It can describe a person perfectly in the context of it but I'm sure people would somehow call it a racist remark because they would automatically assume it was directed at a black person even if it was describing white, hispanic, or misc individuals.

                                                                                                                          from what i've read the outburst had a lot of hate, not just saying hahahahahaha. if it was just saying hahahahahaha i can see the firing being knee-jerk but if it was as harsh as some say, i can *maybe* understand. i haven't seen the clip or read a transcript of it. but if it's not extremely hateful, then i tend to agree with tlcgirls, this is marketing and look for a hulk comeback.

Best thing that happened to wwe was guys like him jumping ship to wcw. Let people like stone cold, the rock and mick foley shine. I was holding on to the very slim chance him and stone cold would have a match at mania. The match would have blowed but nostalgia wise it would have been epic seeing who got the biggest pop at the entrance. He will go back to TNA now i guesss
