American historians have finally disproved the official explanation of Hitler?s death, by proving that the skull with a bullet hole found by Russians in 1946, actually belonged to a woman.

DNA analyses on the skull performed by the University of Connecticut have shocked scientists, and have left experts debating whether Hitler survived and escaped Germany as many popular ?conspiracy theories? suggest.

I don't believe this proves anything. They found a skull they thought was Hitler, but instead was a woman.

People need to understand that moment in time - it was incredibility chaotic. Parents were killing their spouses and entire families because the thought of living in a Germany without Hitler in the Nazi party was "not worth living in". Some of this happened in Hitler's bunker. Then factor in the scene at the German Chancellery, being bombed for weeks, and thousands of people died at the scene. It was pure madness.

All this proves is that the skull they thought belonged to Hitler is not in fact Hitler.

The conspiracy theories about Hitler escaping Germany and living in South America are plausible. A lot of high ranking Nazi members did in fact escape the end and ended up in South America. All of those were eventually found out, however. It's very possible that the Nazi party had a plane standing by for Hitler, took him to a submarine set aside exactly for that purpose (although I believe his personal pilot was caught, and all submarines accounted for). The problem with conspiracy theories is that eventually they come to light and sixty years later there is no direct evidence Hitler escaped. Everyone from the bunker tells a very similar story.
