I don't see what could possibly go wrong with such a well thought out business plan.

Forgive me for asking, but why sell your car just to get all of that? It seems like a huge risk. Why not consider the following?

- Hire a designer like Zuzana Designs to put together a few pages for you, then copy those pages for the rest of your site? (Or just download a free template from somewhere and customize it yourself?)

- Rent a server or just get some cheap hosting at any of a bazillion hosting companies out there?

- I'm sure you didn't mean you want to purchase a billing company, but what was wrong with the one you had? And why not use any of the great billing providers in the adult arena now such as Netbilling, CCBill or Epoch?

- I hope you're not planning to spend a lot of money on a domain name. If the one you want is already taken, why not try for a different name?

I think you already have lots of content, right? If that's the case, you already have lots of what you need, and everything else you need is near-free. If you like, hit me up on Skype and I would be happy to help you out.

Mark, After moving to Spain with my partner, Gary & I have filmed some amazing outdoor content & cumshot creampie content, yet we're being told our website, is not worthy of selling. So, now we're left knowing if we spend a few grand on a design from zuzana it shall be sellable, especially when many have said the content was admirable & saleable, the problem was the design.

Left with little income from the poor design. We feel a massive overhaul is needed, especially when those that have personally met us, have personally spoke with us & have realized what a great open, true & honest couple we are. A full make over of the shop door is needed

Sounds to me like you are all over the place. You have a site and a company, and have shot what you consider great content, but.... why start from scratch? If your car is running rough, you don't tear it down and rebuild it from scratch?

Why not have a long talk with someone in the industry who knows a little bit about what they are doing and who might be wiling to give some advice.

going with new billing will destroy any confidence you have with existing affiliates but having said that, have a look at sliiing, they are pretty good from an affiliate POV and you'll be able to keep on using ccbill with the advantage of having a few back-up processors built in.

I agree that your sites need a redesign. at the moment they seem strangely soulless. what you need to do in my opinion is to just downsize. drop all of your sites except the main one, change that one so that its much more personal to Natalie. really push it as an "adventures of an amateur swinger" site (dump the idea of calling her a pornstar and really push the amateur side of things). your site needs more focus, at the moment you want her to be a swinger, a pornstar, a hotwife, a cheat and a whore, you are cuckolded, an interested observer and a pimp - that gets confusing for a surfer, concentrate on just one aspect and stick to it through the tour when telling the surfer whats inside.
You also really need to find someone to write your texts for you, sorry Gary but some of what you have written on your sites is rather painful to read - maybe actually get her to write it? or even ask her to talk about the shoot, record then transcript it as the sales text, it'll sound much more natural that way.

I am not sure anyone will want to buy a domain name that's been offline so long and content that does not sell.

Your second-tier biller will pick up around 10-15% of lost sales. Until that lost 10-15% can pay for the second-tier biller, it's not something you should be spending your money on. Do that later when you are making sales.

Remember 10-15% of nothing is still nothing, focus on changing that nothing.

you missed my point about getting Natalie to talk and be transcribed. what i meant was when you post an update on the tour, get her to talk about the experience and use that as the sales text - it makes it more personal.

I'm pretty sure that most designers will do a design based on what you want rather than what they think you want and at the moment, you don't really seem to have a clear idea of what direction you want your site to be. After all, if you want Natalie to be portrayed as a pornstar then you'll want a flashy tour but if you go down the amateur route then you'll need a grittier-looking tour. I still think that at the moment you are trying to have your site covering too many bases and needs to be more focused. After all, whats the point of spending cash only to be back where you started, not making money.

If your content is good and the surfers have an interest in what you have to offer, the design isn't the be-all and end-all aspect of your site.

While we would love to do an amazing site from the ground up for you, it's not something we advise selling your car to make happen. Our solid advice would be to scale down to one site as suggested, and consider using Elevated X with a hosting package. You could use their default templates and we could do a nice logo/header/background design to customize them a little. Then you could see how the site did and what adjustments you need to make ? or if the site will even work at all, since sadly not everyone who wants to make a great site is actually successful at it.

It?s great to try, but you don?t need to put so much risk into it. Start off small and build your design and additional sites if you like as you gain more revenue. That way if it doesn?t work out, you can walk away losing a small investment.

You seem determined to make money in this business and willing to put in the time. Cams are your friend and I see you working them. That's what it takes. Keep creating content and figure out the best way to utilize your traffic if this is your passion. Remember to keep it simple and content is king.

A few weeks ago he said he could not cover the cost of hosting his sites.

One presumes that he has no cash to pay the server bill.

Otherwise why pull the sites (all of them) and loose all the traffick.

When he first started we all told him (1) the name sucked, and (2) not to have 6 sites but keep with the one. If he had taken the advise, things would have been so much better. In truth now seems to be in a real mess.

Oh well. He never listens to advice. Never has and probably never will.

He could have made a lot of money if he had taken advice many years ago.

If I was him, I would go do something else before he ends up bankrupt. The danger he has is he will end up selling his car just to cover the cost of his server host. Then when he still makes not much from sales he will end up having no cash.

Gary your in Spain. There are many opportunities to make money in Spain.

Also webcam should make you good money. My mate sucks at webcam (I mean she is really bad) but even she makes £400 or more each night.

If your honest Gary, and sat and did a profit and loss. I suspect you would find that your making an overall loss from your sites each month. Its probably in your interest to stop as clearly your struggling.

But because you are Gary and think you know it all, you will carry on and keep telling people sign up and promote your site(s) and blag it that they sell. And in time you will end up broke.

As I say, I hope it goes well. But sadly I suspect your just throwing money away.

The truth is the content you shoot is not sexy. Until you start to shoot nice content, your never going to make much in sales. Your main problem is in most of your content Nat simply does not look like she wants to be in the pics. She looks unhappy.

As a webmaster you also come across as desperate. You beg people to promote your sites. On forums you offer free access. From the start it was clear you had no idea (even the basics) on what you were doing. You took no advice from anyone, convinced that your way would prove correct, yet it never has.

The truth is, the good times have gone. Do you really think a new look or new domain name is going to suddenly make you lots of cash?

If you want to make money Gary, get the content sorted first. What you have posted on this site, twitter and so on, has in most cases been ugly. And one presumes thats your best, so heck knows how bad everything else is. Before you waste money on a new design, shoot content that people will want to see.

And if you cannot shoot good content, then look for something else to do.

An old saying is a bad workman blames his tools. And that's what you do. You never accept that the problem you have is that your content is junk. You can have the best looking site in the world, but if the product is horrid, it simply will not sell.

And just because you get some sales, do not presume that means what your selling lots of people want. The C5 sold. But in the end it was a flop (mainly because the electronics sucked).

The problem you have Gary is because you get a few sales, you presume that means you have a product that could sell and as such you carry on regardless producing more of your rubbish content.

You may have a lot of content, but its a lot of junk.

Go look at content from other sites.

Then go shoot nice content.

Do you not understand Gary how important it is that your model (in this case Nat) needs to look happy on the pics. Personally I do not find (and many do not) find Nat attractive. But that does not matter, some people will like the Chav look hot. If it had been me I would have stayed in the UK and just shot Chav content, instead you made the mistake of shooting content that was not right for you. Anyway you have gone to Spain so not much you can do about that now.

But Nat needs to look happy in the pics. She needs to look like she wants to be in the pics. But to be honest she just looks like someone who is just doing it to keep you happy. You have been told this from the start.

Anyway, I know you will ignore my advice and you will just carry on regardless.

In six months you will be back begging for webmasters to promote your new site and in a year be asking why your not making many sales.

I honestly think that your site can turn a profit but you are at a very important junction and you really need to think hard about making some huge changes especially in the direction you market your site(s).
