    Pet Stories????

So my 9 week old Pit Puppy, likes to hang out under my bed. Not a problem, until he gets stuck on the far side of the bed and we have to lift it up to get him out. Yesterday I hear him whimpering and look under the bed to see where he got stuck. I dont see him but see my meshing of my box spring hanging low. I push it up to look for my pup...and realize he had burried himself into the box springs. Needless to say, bed frame is off the bed now. lol

Anyone else have funny puppy/pet stories?

My first dog, a samoyd-siberian husky-lab-shepard cross (awesome blend) used to ring the back doorbell when he wanted in. I don't know how many people would sit in the kitchen, doorbell would ring, I'd go answer it and in would trot my dog... and the person would be like "Who was at the door?" I'd say "the Dog" and they'd be like "No way" "You're shitting me" or my fav "Holy shit".

That dog also used to climb the huge willow tree we had out back. Sometimes I'd find him 15 feet up hiding in the branches. Damn dog was part squirrel I guess.

OK, this reminded me. A while back I found a baby squirrel at the foot of a tree, only a day or two old - pink and hairless with bulbous eyes closed, and tried to keep it safe and warm for it's mother, but she never showed. So, I ended up taking it in and raising it.

After that, my cat must figure I like 'em, and has taken it upon herself to go fetch them when we hear their distinctive breathy squeal coming from the woods. She has brought me two more - possibly litter mates, without appearing to injure either.

Rabbits, mice, snakes, moles, voles, birds, etc. will all have puncture marks from her at the very least, baby squirrels on the other hand will be without a mark - at least from her.

Also, the squirrel I rescued loved to jump on the back of one of my indoor cats, which would freak him out, so he would take off running with the squirrel holding tight and riding him like a horse. That was pretty funny to watch.

I have two dogs... One (the dark brown one) is a fucking dumbass. That fucking dog is scared of sheep. And we have a lot of sheep here. Farmers laugh when they see my dog. It's the only dog they allow walking in the same field with the sheep.

One of my cats, Shadow, demands lots of attention, especially when I'm working. I often work with her sitting on my lap. She also chases the mouse cursor around and scratches my monitor. She's here right now as I am typing this.

I watched my old dog walk to the front door look out the glass and make a big sigh. It was raining like hell. She then walked to the sliding glass door in the back of the house saw it was raining there too, then walked to the garage door and whined to be let out. I knew in her mind she was hoping it wasn't raining out that door. lol.
