Somehow, I don't really support what they did to him/his car. Of course, it is not ok to park like that, but still... he should pay the fine.
When his car is all blue, he can't see anything and it is not safe to drive, he can't even drive away, as you can see.
Let me guess, give them a huge ass fine when they are likely handicapped?
Likely...not.
The majority of the time they're using a permit belonging to a deceased spouse or other relative. You wouldn't believe the number of people fraudly using handicap permits these days.
If they were legitimately disabled, the Ministry of Transportation would send them a permit renewal to replace the expired one.
I would never park in a handicapped spot on purpose. Bad karma.
But I did get a ticket for one of my tires being literally half an inch on the blue line of the handicapped parking spot.
I was parked to the right of the spot and My tire touched the outer left corner half an inch in. $350 ticket. Didn't even notice me touching the line. But when I took a closer look, I was touching it. Fuck!!!
And there is a separate ticket that fines you for touching any of the blue around the parking spot. There is also a ticket if you park in front of the handicapped spot and if you wait too long in front of one. Cops don't play with that shit. Im fine with it. When Im wrong, Im wrong. Expensive education.
Rules are rules. But I promise you; that will never happen again.
