Read what you post, you said no one, I posted a list of those that are doing just that. They are getting pressure as well as politicians to remove the flag from everything. Try not to be an asshole and admit people are trying to erase it completely. Saying anything else just shows a retarded mind!

I know I said "no one"...because it is true no one is trying to completely erase the confederate battle flag. Just because a store refuses to sell the flag doesn't mean it is trying to completely erase the flag. "Completely erasing the flag" means that it is not displayed anywhere whatsoever. Yet no one has even argued for that. Even the most ardent opponents against the flag think it is fine to display it in a museum.

First you presented examples of private companies refusing to sell merchandise as "proof" that people are trying to completely erase the confederate battle flag. After I informed you that is not the case, you make vague references to other people that I should Google in order to verify your initial claim. Since you made the claim, then you should provide the cite...not me. I have not seen anyone argue that the US government should outlaw the flag. If if there is one, then they are wrong. If you know of an organization that argues for that the US government to ban the flag, then please provide a cite.

By the way, you understand that is the FREE MARKET at work right? The US government did order Amazon or any other store to stop selling the confederate battle flag. Those companies made a business decision to voluntarily stop selling such merchandise. That's how the free market works.

whatever the vernacular, i have no problem with the grass roots efforts and actions being done regarding that flag. they don't sell the swastikas at Walmart either but we still learn about it in history books and such. the same is happening with this flag and i'm all for it, especially because it is being done by choice of Americans. Americans in charge of NASCAR say no to the flag. Americans in charge at Walmart say no to that flag. they are not being told by the government, this is a good moment in history.
