hrm. here's an idea. h4x0rz, unite out there and make a program, like that brit deal, that intercepts the data *before* it's encoded, and _alter_ it, so the data that is sent to M$ isn't real... only sends the required updated stuff, and maybe just a regular old fuck you letter or soemthing.
if they can intercept the data before it's encrypted on your pc, there's gotta be a way to patch it up.
You MS bashers are pathetic. If you don't like it, go use some other OS. Oh no look at me, I hate this thing but I'm going to still use it! My car's brake doesn't work but I'm going to ride it to the mall today!
If you're receiving the auto-update everyday even though you have just applied it, then you are probably running a pirated version of XP. This has been reported in a few places on the net that MS might on purpose be making annoying changes to your windows whenever it detects that it is an illegal copy.
So either disable the auto-updates or buy your own copy of XP.
