And is it just me or is the main guy in Silicon Valley the most unlikable person on the planet, i know hes supposed to be awkward, but theres been a ton of awkward characters in tv shows who dont do well in social situations who have been likable characters. if he lost his company and everybody else on his team took over, would you be disappointed? I wouldn't
Silicon Valley is great just because it applies so much to our industry. Its great to be able to relate to a lot of whats going on in the show.
Yea, I like the porn episode. All those people in suits sitting around with something like "pooponwife.com" or "skullfucktube.com" written on their desk.
Same here. I'm not defending reality TV, but it totally made me lose interest in drama. I'm sure these shows are well written and everything, but they're not real life and they'll go the same way as the theater.
Currently working my way through every UK reality police series on Youtube.
Silicon Valley is the only show I'm watching that's still going.
Some others I like:
Brooklyn Nine Nine
Portlandia
The Goldbergs
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
iZombie
Orphan Black
Kroll Show
Ray Donovan
Workaholics
Anything on HGTV
Better Call Saul
True Detective
Star Wars Rebels
you stopped watching there? lucky you. lol what started as a comedy turned into the biggest most ridiculous soap opera ever
Oh no, I've seen every episode on DVD but that's when I stopped watching it during regular programming hours. And yeah that was pretty good timing on my part because season 3 was horrible. Season 4 was OK, but didn't come anywhere close to re-capturing the epic awesomeness of seasons 1-2.
I just started watching Halt and catch fire this season and love it. I watched the whole season one in one sitting.
other shows
izombie
castle
Nashville
street outlaws
fast and loud
mr robot
complications (really good)
Aquarius
bar rescue
duck dynasty (not as good the last few seasons but still watchable)
ncis new orleans
ncis
criminal minds
I think that is most of the shows I DVR along with other car shows when nothing else is on.
The Brink
Wayward Falls
Aquarius
Walking Dead (only if it's the last season and comes to a conclusion. Like a lot of US series they go on to long and become boring)
Which is a problem for the US. West Wing, Mad Men, The Good Wife, Sex in the City, Game of Thrones, etc. They start to repeat themselves with the same story, just a different place. Comedies are the worst culprits.
