    Tumblr Monetizing Question

I am running a tumblr site that get some decent traffic and I am planning on opening a new one today. The current tumblr niche is teen asses and the new one will be Asian asses.

What's the best way to monetize an adult tumblr site? I've seen sites with Crak adverts but they get shut down fairly quickly.

    Any suggestions?

What are the rules at Tumblr? No affiliate links basically? Or no outside links to porn sites at all?

You'll need to send traffic from your tumblr blog to your money site but you'll have to post links sparingly.

Open new blogs all the time and be ready for Tumblr to ban any of them for any reason whatsoever.

        That's the current game.

Tumblr specifically states they don't allow affiliate advertising. Though I think this rule is pretty selective:
          • No adult affiliates ever.
          • No blatant affiliate advertising.
          • They don't mind the occasional link as long as it's contextual and inside rich content.
          • Don't have every post advertise something.

Granted if you're small enough you can fly under the radar for a good while, but likely you'll eventually get caught and have to start over.

Be sure to create one tumblr with one separate email, and not multiple tumblrs on one account.

As if they decide to wipe you off they'll delete all blogs at once.

              Been there done that :-)

. . . ^^^^ Also if you're a spammy asshole they'll track by IP and shut you down.

I've had great success on Tumblr and number 1, 2 & 3 spots on major 2 word keywords & one 3 word, but it's hard to monetize. It's a different crowd there demographically. You cannot shere on tumblr without watermarks here or there, it's impossible, they know that. They are big on users submitting unique non stolen/rehashed content, sharing & communicating.

The best way to view tumblr is product recognition, connecting with other content creators, and watching the spammers get banned every day , with a random sale here or there

You've got to be kidding me. They built up (most of) their entire system WITH content they had no permission to use.

How can that even be considered a 'way' to view something?

The best way to view any social media site is to search for content you are interested in and slowly follow the blogs/posts/reddits/ etc. that you enjoy.

You forgot sharing & communicating, the most basic aspect of social media.

Yeah I see. Generally I'm used to GFY discussions on Tumblr or any other social platform to be about using it for monetization only.

                      Yep.

I also like Tumblr and could get into it but don't like the fact that others can control my content on a whim, or that I create it for them. But I also use it sparingly form time to time.

I've made my asian ass tumblr account with separate email accounts. Thanks for the heads up.

Not spammy at all. I added about a dozen links when I started the site to figure out how to do it but 12 to 20 links out of 8000 plus images is not spammy.

LOL ... He's saying he made $13k by creating one niche blog and posting 100 times per day with affiliate links to a DatingFactory white lablel.

There are people using Tumblr bots with hundreds of accounts who don't make nearly as much.

                            He's marketing to noobs.

Sell links or link your images to a traffic broker.
