I agree with Bush 100%. He knows that Saddam is an asshole and he always will be.

Fuck the U.N, if they're that blind where they don't see Saddam as a world threat then they can kiss our asses. We don't need their support, but we'll remember their decisions when they come crying to us with their hands out looking for money.

This was does kinda worry me though because I think that it is gonna cause some hard feelings towards the US. HOWEVER, I'm sure once we dig into the country, there's gonna be LOTS of shit surfacing, showing just how nasty Saddam is which will show everyone that we had a justified reason to go in.

I agree , we didn't need UN support when Germany and France dragged us into war in Kosovo because they were saying that Milosevic was killing their own people, but to tell you the truth Milosevic looks like street thug comparing to Saddam, if he did care for his country he would step down and let things move forward peacefully.

The UN is an international organization - it is not the property of the US. The US approached the UN for "credibility" and a coalition in their plans for another "adventure". The UN does not agree with the US. Nor do the majority of people on the planet who are represented thru the UN. Is there a lack of understanding of the word "No" in the US educational system?

The US has behaved like a spoilt brat and has elected to take their toy and play elsewhere since they are unable to communicate with the rest of the world - not a new scenario.

As far as the UN asking the US for money, - the US still has not paid a backlog of UN dues for years past. The last part-contribution coming after 9/11 when it was obvious it was "prudent" to contribute. Until after 9/11 the US did not even have a US Ambassador to the UN till Negropointe was given the job.

As far as I am concerned the US can go fuck itself and stay out of the UN, abandon NATO and mind its own fucking business and attend to its own citizens. It's foreign policy is a fucking joke and the main source of instability in the world. It needs a blunt kick up the ass and there is little doubt there will be a "cooling" at *any* dealings with the US in future from many nations.

Go fuck yourself - the world will be a much better place without the US government - a sad lot that "somehow" were elected.
