The largest number of slaves were shipped to Brazil and it was the last of the Americas to abolish slavery.
You will have to do more research to figure this out. I don't think you will be able to get an accurate count. There were just too many and I don't think that there was a really hard number kept.

Grape, my brother, Christians came to power with Constantine in the early 4th century and formal legal slavery went away in the early 1900s. That would be 1500 years of "I'll get around to it". Constantine owned slaves, and serfs actually had it worse than slaves in many ways. A bonded peasant in the 900s lived a far worse life than a Roman slave. Both could be bought and sold, but slaves were manumitted routinely and could even save up and buy their own freedom, while serfs could not be freed. Both could be hungry, but serfs frequently starved. serfs couldn't leave the land they worked, and their lifespan was lower than roman slaves.
Calling something a different name doesn't mean you've done anything.
Inequality under Christianity grew to the the greatest extent it ever has in HUMAN HISTORY going back 200,000 years. Around the time of John of Gaunt, you had a few dozen people making the equivalent of a billion dollars a year, 1 in 100 were priests, and everyone else near starvation.
If you're saying recent Christians ended slavery, like in the last 150 years, some did, some didn't. Industrialization and electricity mean slaves and serfs weren't needed, which is the only reason you and I are able to write this crap, and we aren't out hoeing cucumbers.Comment
