Slavery is alive and well. The slaves just don't know that they are slaves. It's far cheaper to allow the slave the illusion of freedom and pay them a slave wage than it is to pay for 100% of their upkeep. We are all slaves, the ones who think that they are free just don't know they are slaves.

if I spent time thinking about that issue I would be sick inside with, not records and documents about the holocaust when I was around 10.... caused a real negative affect in my life. same really, in a general sense. For me god is a catchall word that has nothing to do with the word God or any religion - the majority of people can't separate the two uses/meanings (which is why I still almost never use it, and tbh still have the same connotations myself whenever I hear it lol)

god = mother nature, the force, fate, karma, life essence, or whatever else it is that any person personally believes has a greater sway on the universe than they do. In that sense, there is something bigger than me, even if it's the non-sentient process itself of chemical reactions causing the Big Bang, which has that 'order' to it.

God = sentient deity choosing event A or B, that you can even 'worship' in the first place.

Just my very basic take on it.
