It's more like we should stop fucking up mother nature all around the country & the world.
I watched a show on PBS a few weeks ago about a small dam in some SC or GA city (I forget which). The dam much like many of them around the country was put in place by the Army Corp of Engineers (there are thousands of these all around the country, which no longer serve a purpose)
The city organizers decided after a lot of pressure for years from some local groups to remove the dam. The groups wanted to restore the natural white water sections of the river and then use that to help spur tourism.
They finally removed the dam and had to re-engineer some of the underlying rock as much had been removed when the dam was built. After doing this, they realized that wildlife was suddenly flourishing in the river. When they put the river back to the way it was supposed to be, it had a very positive affect on the habitat around it.
Due to this they are trying to push to remove more of these old dams from around the country, which no longer serve any purpose. The simple fact is, when man starts fucking with mother nature, we usually fuck it up. It took nature thousands of years to work out balance for ecosystems but it's only taken man a few 100 years to fuck it all up.In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

Because of the success this city has had, there are now several other projects which are trying to do the same thing..In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

Total dip shit program. Those are elk not deer.
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is fighting the wolf programs so they have more elk to "thin" out and have been introducing elk around the country (regardless of the consequences).
The wolves are vital to the ecosystem (same as large cats) and do virtually no damage to domestic livestock. Sadly red wolf reintroduction programs have not worked well.Comment

I do a lot of camping in northern MN during the spring/summer/fall. You can hear them howling at night. Can be a bit unnerving when I'm up there by myself.
The locals don't like them because what used to be great deer hunting is now pretty shitty. A lot of these people relied on their fall deer harvests as a source of food. There was a wolf hunting season opened a few years ago, then it was quickly shut down the following year as a lot of people were upset about it. Now they are protected again.
We have a lot more big cats in the area, that's what scares the shit out of me. You're not gonna know their there until they are on you.Have Chargebacks? Send me a message.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about thatComment

Wolfs usually don't get more than 15% of an elk heard. Last year we had a very good year and only lost 25% of our elk calves to black bear.
Coyotes and increase bear populations as well as hemorrhagic blood diseases have been hitting some deer populations very hard. I hear complaints from all around the country about it.
CWD, Black Tongue, and with the warmer winter brain worm are in a serious uptick all of which effect deer. Brain worm with the warming we have been experiencing can be a huge issue in the future.Comment

So what you are saying, is no matter how much you learn, you will believe any action on the part of bettering our planet is an "agenda" for a political side, rather than it is actually bettering our soundings?
You live in a very sad little bubble soda boy, all you can ever do is try to make everything political. In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment
