Techies: Can you stream on Twitch safely without getting hacked or "Swatted"?
Theres a video game I love and I can play 15 hours a day. So I'd really like to have a stream on Twitch.
But then I've been hearing about how easily hackers get into the Twitch servers, find someones IP, then their info, do terrible things like call in a fake murder or bomb plot and sent the swat team to your house. And it happens a lot. is it possible to avoid this, or are you just open and fucked if you stream and theres nothing you can do? This bs is the only thing keeping me from streaming. so fucked up |
