    We need more business related shit here

    Hey everyone! Remember back in the day where we solved each others tech problems, coded together, networked, did case studies and shared data, etc? Nowadays it's just bullshit, news and adult related shit that webmasters don't benefit from..

    Here's something random to start:

    1) Everyone complaining about tubes, notice how shitty the videos still are and full of ads and slow. Make a video site like a tube, but more high quality thumbs and videos like Beeg. You don't even need to add to many per day to be effective. And keep in mind mobile is important these days and 4k is coming, which is something that I'm sure tubes are going to have a hard time promoting with bandwidth..

    2) Make "blogs" in a paysite preview style, if done right you can convert well. One that I made is Danejoneshd.com (Which Mindgeek sadly owns now and I don't think have touched it.. :/ ) and has made hundreds of sales by itself with no paid traffic or blackhat.

                  But you are right man. I post biz threads all the time and while I appreciate those who take the time to post in them it's a tiny fraction of how it used to be when I first joined six years ago.

                  So here's one: tubes are now collecting all the videos from Content Partners into Channels. I think having every single video you ever upload in one convenient place is killing sales. At least when they had to do searches a video or two would pop up and you could help influence the results by the keywords/titles you chose. Now? Everything in one place. How is this helping paysite sales? And how can we change this? Delete channels?

                                  Only thing you can do is up production and let them do as they wish. If you use the tubes for exposure... ya need to be exposing a few times per day. Can't have it both ways... submit to a tube AND not saturate your content.

                                                                  Well.. I might not want to get into that in too much detail publicly, I make decent doing that but what I already said should be a good hint.
                                                                  Use common sense, though. One example is to use a good WP theme that looks very similar to the tour or paysite that you're promoting. Then do marketing things like test and scale up, use "action colors", don't give away too much in a way to make the surfer want more, etc.

                                                                  Some sponsors don't like people using paysiteKW.com or paysite.tld, though, so I'd recommend asking first..

                                                                          This is what i said 2 weeks ago in a thread.... channels are killing sales.... This claim of mine was somehow proven to me a few days after i wrote it here on gfy. I had a cancelation of a membership. Same day i had a friend request on Xhamster. The username of the xhamster-user sounded familiar. I copy-pasted that username in my paysite database and it popped up and it was the user who canceled his membership earlier that day. So... he just replaced a membership at my paysite for a XHamster-friendship... and now he has all (shorter) videos in one place: my tube channel! Let's think about how to adapt...

                                                                                      Yeah, those channels are basically replacing paysites with free "mini paysites" at the tubes. Even if they're lower quality, shorter, cumshot cut out, etc. the average surfer won't know the difference since all of a site that they enjoy all together is enough for them to cum and leave unless the surfer is really into cumshots or super high quality streams/downloads..

                                                                                      So... Paysite owners have to get together and take down their videos/channels and at first find alternate ways to make sales and will be very glad they did in the long run if enough companies do it.

                                                                                                              Does uploading content to tube sites actually result in traffic to cam sites?

                                                                                                              I've been completely turned-off to advertising on tube sites. When I see tube sites, I see the content surrounded by other ads that are unrelated to the content, endless, endless fucking pop-up ads, and zero links to the source of that content.

                                                                                                              Another reason I was turned off of tube sites was a few years ago at Xbiz in Miami, someone gave a seminar which was called "How to make money in tube sites", but turned out to be just a sales pitch for that tube site, and that even had copyright content in its screenshots it was showing during the "seminar". The host of the seminar said lots of ridiculous things, one of which was "the content you upload should be at least 15 minutes long". Totally ridiculous to me.

                                                                                                              Anyway, if you are advertising on Tube sites I would love to hear about the success or failure you have had with them, who you recommend if any, etc.

                                                                                                                  dont go above two post an hour or you could be flagged as spam. i only use my own sites never spammed twitter. its a shame some people ruin a good thing for a few bucks.

                                                                                                                              Yes I remember your comments well, and is what made me say what I did. The issue may be the tubes will not want to delete the channels so we may have to threaten total deletion of ALL videos to accomplish this. Are we willing to go that far?

                                                                                                                              Tube sites are being short-sighted here with Channels. They may be fine for user uploads and normal profiles but for Content Partners tubes should NOT have Channels OR 'related videos' with other uploads from that Content Partner.

                                                                                                                                                  This is what I'm saying... there just aren't many business people in this industry and even the people who made huge money early on didn't tend to be good business people which is why the majority of them went broke and quietly faded away.

                                                                                                                                                  I make money because it's easy. My competition is literally some of the laziest and most inept and unintelligent people online today.... with a few exceptions of guys that really have their shit together. It's perfect. I buy a lot of traffic that people come on this forum all the time and announce to be complete garbage. I don't work more than an hour a day and make five figures a month... in fact, it now depresses me. I finally, after a couple years of just fucking off completely, decided to focus to get it back up over 6 figures a month, so I can find and support a venture that gets me excited.

The issue may be the tubes will not want to delete the channels so we may have to threaten total deletion of ALL videos to accomplish this. Are we willing to go that far?

                                                                                                                                                                                  Tube sites are being short-sighted here with Channels. They may be fine for user uploads and normal profiles but for Content Partners tubes should NOT have Channels OR 'related videos' with other uploads from that Content Partner.

The tubes are saying the channels are a great way to brand your content and sites. They do offer great advertising space. But I think this works better if you have MEGA content (a shit ton) but if your content is more niche-oriented it may be hurting sales.

                                                                                                                                                                                      What good is a logo, banner etc if a surfer can see every single one of your uploads all in one place for free? A Content Partner will, over time, have thousands of videos on his account.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Of course I also see it from the tubes' perspective; with so many Content Partners it's a way to stay both organized and competitive in that Programs can have fans upvoting their stuff on their Channels. It does help sort through all the uploads a big tube must get but does it help the small paysite owner?

                                                                                                                                                                                                      I'm not going to mention any names, but there are some big paysite owners that claim to do well on tubes and that they don't have any connections or "bro" status with the tubes, but I have proof that it's all 100% bullshit lies.....
