I am thinking of building a site such as clips4sale since it can make a lot of money. Obviously the hardest part would be the get enough paying customers that studios would want to make sales through my site instead of clips4sale. So, can i assume the only way to do this in say 1-2 years is to use media buying? what kind of budget would i need for advertising?
Also, does anyone know how much profit clips4sale makes per year?

Forget the haters here. You can do this! Focus all of your energy on this like a laser. Buy a clipsforsale clone, there are many under $30, one has a 30 free trial money back gurantee if I remember. Put it on some $25 a month shared hosting , you can get a designer to customize it for under $100. use the rest on ad space and over time and with a little experimenting you will have a new improved clips4sale platform. just keep your focus and don't be deterred. One by one they will come to sell on your new space.

Clips4sale is like a dinosaur, they live in the past, and only the most deviated people buy clips there, which are extremely overpriced.

You could be more successful, you only have to be better than them. The first thing to do would be to have the clips cheaper and in better quality, displayed in a more modern and viewable catalogue.

But, I would like you to don't actually do it, it is, honestly, too difficult.

I was being sarcastic. I started replying to this on my phone earlier and it was too much a pain in the ass.

Like Duk75, and the others, I believe in doing something unique, or at least better, moving things forward.

Here's the Clips4Sale evolution: Custom short videos funded by users, people who pay, get input and finished product.

1) Buy GoFundMe clone script.

2) Populate the site with short videos of 20 top cam models saying what they'll do in a custom video.

3) etc, etc, etc.

After a while make a tube site with teasers of the finished custom videos and pay per view access, or full membership access. That promotes the custom videos, sells more clips, creates a community, build build build. TIP: A lot of the clips4sale content is custom requests from users there. Tada! Welcome to 2015 :D

ANYTHING is possible with a big enough budget, enough time and focus, and energy. But taking that journey is EXTREME to say the least.

Could you start a new Twitter or a better Facebook today? Absolutely! Got millions to do so? A team of hundreds?

ONE person can get going but there will be a point where you hit such a massive wall that either you need the above (millions and a team) or you just stop and settle for whatever level you have reached.

But knowing this in advance helps make the decision easier. It all comes down to what you are willing to do (and not do).

why not start a cam site? you have many scripts to choose from and all you would need is some magic traffic powder just like for your clips4sale project?

theres much more money in instant empire cam sites than there is in instant empire clips sites

Obviously the hardest part would be getting enough people to search my engine that advertisers would pay to be listed on it instead of Google. Can I assume the only way to do this in 1-2 years is to buy ads on Google? What kind of budget would I need for that?
I already know how much Google profits per year so this is why I want to make a site like that.
