USA? How would I find this info? (Jail Related)

    USA? How would I find this info? (Jail Related)

    I just found out by chance that a family I have lost touch with in San Diego ended up getting busted for pot and meth back in 2012

    I know the date and the fact that they were raided and what jail they were taken too... But how would I find out what happened to them? ie a Fine? Not Guilty? Jail Time? etc etc...

    I'm not sure where to look up the results, and I would assume it would be on public record - But where to look? What URL?

          How would I find that? I only have an official press release from the San Diego Sheriff Dept... There a few news sites that covered the story - But none that tell me the outcome

                                  OK, so I will post the info I have - After all, it is public record.



                                  Like I say, I'm just curious as to what happened - I certainly dont want to get back in contact with them, but I'd be curious to know...

                                  Its just that because its in America, and you lot have a different way of dealing with stuff, I'm at a loss to fnd the info - Had it happened in the UK, then no problem

                                              No, I tried that - Thankyou. However they dont show up as they are not in jail / prison as far as I know. Thing is it happened in 2012 and its 2015 now so for example the father could have got 6 months and the son three, or perhaps just a fine ? Thats what I'm trying to find out

                                                                      you can call the sheriffs dept give them the name and they will usually tell you anything you want to know so long as its public info...arrest records sentencing and all that is public info unless sealed by a judge if the sheriffs dept cant give it to you they can tell you who to call to get it
