    Guitar Players Go Pro Head Strap

    Playing around with me new GoPro Hero 4 Black jamming to some youtube jam tracks and thought I would share. I am heavily influenced by David Gilmore and Joe Walsh you can probably hear it in my playing.

          How is the GoPro hero 4? Does it have a screen on the back you can view what you taped?

          I heard the black is really nice but has alot of extra features that maybe someone who is normal would not use.

          Thinking of picking up the silver or the black.

              If you don't care about 4k in 30p then get the silver with the screen already on it. I had to buy the screen seperate. The battery only last 45 minutes shooting in 4k. In 1080 2 hours.

                      Likewise, I had to buy the screen separate - kinda' ticked me off at the time. But for some stuff I like to see what I'm aiming at...even with the wideangle lens on the Gopro.

                      And playback capability, of course.

                          Definitely a must have on the screen. I used the GoPro Hero 4 black along side my GH4 and even with color grading the GoPro still looks inferior. They aren't there yet with the Dynamic Range and colors compared to the Gh4. If you want the best wide angle in 4k get the Panasonic Gh4 and the 7-14 F4 lens. This combo is hard to beat. I have used it for POV and real estate videos /glidecam virtual tours. If you want a hands off approach to shooting you can't beat the gopro though. No need to worry about settings unless you are dealing with low light with these little cameras. Also there you will never be able to use a headstrap for the GH4 but you can get the same effect with someone holding the camera in front of you. I stand on a ladder to shoot POV angles with the GH4 it makes the GoPro footage look cheap.

                                  Excellent. You play with lots of feel. Im more of a shredder but my chops are sloppy as of late.

                                              I am sloppy too but attempt some shred licks. I don't practice as much as I use to but I try and pick up the guitar for 15 minutes a day or so. This lick is in D minor
