Jon's still pretty young and his legal trouble won't last too long if he takes a plea and gets probation instead of jail time. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back in the Octagon in early 2016 for a big comeback.

Ya, I did. And that changed my opinion of him for sure. I like the good guy. BUT... I love watching him fight. He's just so dominant and creative. I guess the UFC has other goals and issues to worry about. But for me, as long as he's not breaking rules inside the ring (including drug tests) then that should rule what happens to him in the league.

I actually liked Jones before I saw that interview, I didn't know much about him though. I couldn't understand why people disliked him. Tough, good looking, personable....and then. Ew. I could not stand him from that moment forward. Snake.

I have to say that the UFC making former title challenger Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson compete for the now vacant LHW title is a pretty good fight. Cormier opened as a slight favorite on the betting odds. Eventually when Jones comes back to challenge whoever holds the title at that point that will be a big deal.

Anderson has his own problems now after getting busted for PEDs. Not sure when we are going to see either one of these guys fight next. Very doubtful they will ever fight each other in my opinion.

A lot of MMA guys are the male version of female strippers. Same mommy and daddy issues. I have seen this 1st hand working with and training a lot of these guys in the past.

I don't think he was training seriously for Anthony Johnson. He has been gong out, drinking and smoking weed. Jone is so talented, he didn't have to train hard for his fights and when in the cage he would always dominate his opponents as if they just started in the UFC. Jones also seems to always get better as time goes on.


But now you have Anthony Johnson who is a serious beast, with a serious camp and is laser focused on beating Jones. Johnson has the skills and most important super heavyweight knock out power in both hands. This guy just has to graze you and the fight will be over.


I know the Johnson, I have wrestled the guy. One thing that always stuck in my head when I was on the matt with him; "If this guy actually hit me at full force I'm fucked!!"


I feel a focussed Anthony Johnson will beat an unfocused Jones.



When Jones gets out of jail, this will straighten him out. Jail will refocus Jones. A focused Jones is unbeatable. Nobody will beat a focused John jones. The guy is probably the most talented guy to ever do MMA.


When Jones comes back focused, he won't be beat. He will probably still go down as the GOAT! "Greatest Of All Time".


Im talking facts. I don't like Jones at all. I want to see him get whooped. I wanted to see Anthony Johnson whoop that ass! Fuck John Jones!! My opinion has no bearing on the facts that John Jones is definitely the best pound for pound fighter and he will still probably go down as the beast ever to fight in MMA after he comes back after his legal issues.


Here is a clip of Anthony Johnson 1st UFC fight. I was there when he got the call. He was 209lbs and was called 9 days before his fight at 170lbs. I remember when Joe Rogan stopped by to see him train. Joe Rogan was "Holly Shit this guy is a beast!!" Also keep in mind Tommy Spears was one of the Ultimate fighter seasons runner up. Johnson was not really suppose to win that fight. But his KO power had something else to say...
