What?s the street value of the narcotic inventory a typical chain drugstore has in stock?

Seems drug stores are the main target of ?rioters?. Many times it?s been reported outside influences precipitate the initial surge of protesters both in Ferguson and now Baltimore.

Recent reports from Baltimore show an organized theft of the entire inventory of prescription narcotics most of which were inside a missing 350 pound safe. This would require numerous thieves working together, a dolly, van/truck.

What if an organized group looks for the opportunity and fuels the mob mentality needed to pull off drug heists? The amount of time needed to remove a heavy safe can only be accomplished when police aren?t responding to alarms.

I?m not belittling the overall issues involved in the protests. I?m just wondering if the volatile atmosphere surrounding these events plays into the hands of people looking to make huge drug scores. Think how easy it would be to start a major diversion.

Just a thought while I eat lunch and watch CNN ??...
