It was one of the people in the van that they pulled out. Either Glen, Daryl or Michonne. They kept showing 1st person view from one of them and then it switched to 1st person view as they were beaten.
In the previous episode it was Daryl who was also shot while in 1st person view. We know that because he was fucked up and bleeding and Glen nor Michonne was. Seems to reason it would be Daryl but could be Glen if they stick to the comics. Then again doesn't the same guy kill both Glen & Daryl in the comic? My bet is they wanted to mix it up a bit and it will be Daryl
Shitty way to end the season though.. I really hate those kinda leave you hanging things..In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

the whole season has been shit, way too slow and way to trying to get into the mind of Rick. I recorded the finale but won't even watch it now I know nothing is solved. I bet glenn is dead and more of the same will come next season. I think they jumped the shark with the governor and should have though about wrapping it up like BB did at some point. Now it's just mindless finding the next dangerous group, and they do the dumbest things all the time it drives me nuts...........ever heard of lifestraws? for water I mean damn. You build up an arsenal with automatic weapons and even mortars if necessary and never leave unless you need a medical antibiotic run or an emergency. I'm sick of them constantly splitting up and making 8 year old decisions. I'm pretty much done with the show at this point. They're just milking all they can out of this show and it's killing it.
Now I will watch fear the walking dead for a while in the hopes that it is better. Hell it's better already.Comment

I think Negan said, "cut the boys other eye out and feed it to his father if anyone screams?. He didn't say it to Carl, he said it to his own men. It is either Glenn (if they stay true to the comics) or Daryl since he has so much other shit lined up (TV shows and movies). I doubt it's anyone else. My money is on Glenn.

I think the creators have no idea who they want to kill yet. If they did actually pick someone to be the victim of Lucille, then filming it in the way they did allows for some creative freedom in the writing room during the off-season.Comment

Yah, but that's already been filmed and is set to air. It's not a live show. Technically he could have possibly filmed both at the same time, especially if they filmed Ride in GA.
The Eenie Meenie scene is straight from the comics, but it wouldn't be the first time that the person who dies in the comics makes it through the ep alive. And Chandler Riggs posted on Twitter that the cast doesn't know who gets to hear Lucille's sweet sweet music. So I'm guessing that AMC is deciding which of the not-primary cast gets it. Besides, this way they have more control over leaks -- at least until filming starts and pix start floating off the set of who's there and who's not.

In this first photo, Daryl is slouching next to Glenn - you can't really even see him. If you watch the scene, after the first hit from Lucille, the first person view appears to go from a slouched position to sitting up. That's when Negan says, "He's taking it like a champ".
In this leaked shot, you can see Negan hitting the guy next to Glenn, and Glenn's head doesn't move. This all points to Daryl being the one who meets Lucille.

More illogical shit than ever. Once they backed away from the first road block it was obvious what was next. The second retreat made it even more obvious.
Then leaving the RV after traveling hours, the Saviours managed to finf them in a big wood and get all their cars to the trap without making any noise!!!
Why did they attack the first time without all the arms they have had since then?
The amount of food the Saviour's would need to survive makes them living off others impossible.
Talking of people running into each other that seems so easy to do when the huge areas makes it improbable.
And I could have sworn someone got killed in the end f the last episode!!!

I too think it could be Daryl. Supposedly Norman Reedus has a lot of opportunities away from the show so I could see him asking them to kill him so he could pursue those. If it is him, the only problem I have is how he went out. During the whole series he has been a badass and now he lets some punk get the jump on him and shoot him, then he goes out on his knees getting bashed with a baseball bat. I would think if they really were going to take out such a beloved character they would give him a heroes death and let him go out on his shield.Comment

I call it the "Batman and Joker" theory.
On the campy old Batman t.v. series...the Joker would catch Batman and Robin. Then he would tell them his entire plan. And then he would set a timer or something that is supposed to kill them LATER and he would leave.
Then Batman would escape and catch him.
The Joker never learned that he should have just shot Batman dead right there on the spot. lol
Seems like part of any action movie/t.v. series plot that the "Batman and Joker" theorem is always used.
And the bad guy NEVER learns.

I love how TV writers think people are able to shoot someone in a strategic location so they'll be able to live. Getting shot is a big deal, especially in that world....I think you'd be done after getting a paper cut on the wrong day.
Carol took one in the leg and arm...but she'll be ok because it's TV.
the best TV depiction of being shot and recovering would probably be Hank on Breaking Bad. He got shot multiple times, was close to death and spent months -- or maybe a year recovering. And he still was fucked up afterward and had to walk with a cane.
I love Strike Back, but I remember seeing one of the heroes get shot in the kneecap with an AK47 round, and he was back in action next week. That was funny to me because a 7.62 mm round to the kneecap is a career ender.Comment
