Start another blog? Or is it all Tube now?
I stepped out of the adult space a few years ago to focus on G-rated affiliate work. Before I made my exit, I'd managed to build a small number of niche blogs that were each bringing in $800-$1k/mo. I didn't have an avalanche of traffic, but the traffic I did have was 100% organic search traffic and it converted like crazy. Since then, all of Google's adult search results are strictly tube sites. No matter what I search for. Tubes were not a big thing back when I was an adult webmaster. And I don't see any reality in which I'm going to hold down a top 3 result for "rough sex" or "mmf bisexual" in a major search engine with that kind of competition. Has the entire pink-web switched to just punting pop-under cam traffic? Has everyone just set up some tube site that feeds off XVideos' feeds? Are blogs dead as dog shit now? Or is it just the idea of getting organic traffic to them? |

				 | All depends on how much you post. The bulk text content will pull traffic to the odd words. The bulk images video etc will give strength to meta tag keywords. If many are targeting the same keywords then a blog might be better. Blogs will bring in visitors tubes will retain them.

				 | Of course video content is more attractive for surfers, but I also saw some interesting blogs, with quality content, attractive design, so why not... |

				 | I'm in the same situation. Just come back to xbiz after a long time. I notice tube sites are dominating these days. Is it true? Is there any chance for blogs to survive?

				 | Tubes are more defenceless for SE, than bogs, it's true. But in the same time tubes are more profitable for monetization |

				 | Tubes take a lot of work and you need unique title and description for each video not just scrape them. |
