new path after an adult webmaster for 10+ yrs

after being an adult webmaster for 10yrs consider exploring the options.

money is still good will continue on, so its not that.

just wondering what some good jobs / businesses that mix fun and earning good money are amd not wanting a standard fb top 10 clickbait list

Clearly an obvious question is what defines good earnings, fun, quality of life. So , thats exactly why Im asking others what path they would like to take in this day and age if making a Change After being an adult webmaster.

We all know so little Its good to hear others thoughts on such an important part of life as ones work.

.1% is what we think we know.
.1% is what we know we dont know and then theres the 99% being all the knowledge that we dont even know about not knowing.

So that in mind im putting a lot more thought than the last time I decided to be an adult webmaster / entrepreneur.

I would focus on being a family photog full time. Realistically. Specializing in high school seniors though.

My dream job though would be to have a huge petting zoo in my backyard and people come on weekends to interact, I take photos, and then they can choose which photos they want for print via online gallery. I love kids and I love animals. Put the two together what a combination.

edit: no matter what it was that I did, I would undoubtedly have to be in charge. I can't see myself working for someone again.

That's why I have managers to manage the people and I just have to get out of their way.

I'm not a great manager (smart enough to know this) but I'm a great boss! =) (Most of the time)

Where do you live? You can come and train one of my dogs who had a traumatic start before 8 weeks old. If you can train him, then you can probably train anything. I also have a little mini pony who needs some ground work! Come on over. If all goes well, we can have a lil rescue. (I'm a dreamer)

I'll take pics and you can buy em. hehe

Where do you live? My dad just brought me some honey from upstate NY 2 weeks ago. Kuticks? It's the first honey I ever had that I actually LIKE. All clover.

A few years back I was going to buy my kids some bee hives and set up for them to make a stand and sell their own honey. I've been trying to get these guys to start their own business (young) so they can be set up in the future. 2 cute girls selling honey at a road side stand...reminds me of.

They however had no interest. Still something I might think about doing.

So you have to get dressed up and wear a suit and all that stuff? How often do you harvest the honey? What happens to them in the winter time?

Well I have 10 acres. I would probably try to set that up as far from the house as I can if I ever did it.

Petting zoo babysitting service. Oh snap.

I also considered setting up a dog park/ pet sitting, charging a monthly membership fee. I would still do the same thing, take photos of the dogs playing, upload them onto a website where they can choose what to purchase.

you could be one of those guys who drives around nice neighbors and picks up their "garbage" and then sells it on craigslist or whatever.

i don't know. i've only ever worked online besides a couple of factory jobs which weren't much fun.
you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

                                                  Good question.
I am doing that more but I like working so just thinking about things I can explore.

money is not an issue but im also not where I want to be yet. Only 35yrs so plenty of time for both.

would love to combine travel with work.

How about building a website and set up a small warehouse space and sell a product.

i love these kinds of threads and this is a good one with terrific ideas posted.

here's what i'm doing- i've virtualized my hobbies as online lifestyles, looking at them as micro-niches are looked at and understood in online adult. Using business skills i have such as photography, marketing/sales and creating unique angles on products (the skils i enjoy).

create accounts with the proper branding at snapchap, instagram, twitter, youtube channel, Amazon reviews that are a part of that hobby/micro-niche, etc, then go out and meet with others in your area (in real life) that are like-minded, go to places that are about that hobby and record those events. always carry and use your camera, when you go to a gathering with others that are like-minded, then be JFK for all of those put that online and then invite those people to come check out what you shot and share in the micro-niche. always be the group's go-to photographer by always uploading your images and inviting others to see themselves in the pics.

this creates personal networks of very focused like-minded people, and do what the big boys do with that sort of micro-niched group, sell ads.

properly monetize each of those spaces with advertising and links, such as links to amazon products that have your referral code and drive traffic across all of them. then expand and use the monetization tools that are coming online at places like instagram.

incremental revenue for doing what you like to do and are good at.

When I figure out how to split myself in half so I can work two companies - I am positive photography will be my thing. I could probably making a killing right now if I start setting up beach photos. It's like 400 bucks for them to just come to the beach and take photos, then you still have to purchase prints. sunrise, and sunset you are potentially making 2k+ for a few days worth of work (after edit). That would be cool.
