Paxum is a pain in the ass to get your ID's approved. The edges cant be cut off and they are inspected like j. edgar hoover looking at the lindbergh ransom letter. I had the same problem with expired ID... I sent the new one 4 times before they agreed I am who I said I was...even though they had approved the account with the same type of ID before.

I just slapped my ID down on my shitty old scanner, pressed the scan button, and then sent that piece of junk to Paxum and it was accepted

Hi ohjulien,

Maybe you find their steps to be a pain in the butt, but if you think about it they are going out of their way to protect your account for you. And besides, they tell you exactly what they need from you and in what format, size, etc to validate your account. Why not just follow their instructions?

Think about it. You are some guy, from a new IP address, at a new address, with an expired card, claiming to be someone else. Can you imagine how upset you and everyone else would be if someone else pretended to be you, gave them different information than what they had on file for you, and released your funds to them?

If you follow their instructions you will have your account fixed up asap. Fraud and identity theft is a huge problem. I think the way Paxum does things is the way it should be done.

Hi ohjulien,

Without knowing your username I can't check into it directly, but for all newly issued cards (including replacement cards) we require there to be a valid proof of address on file that is recent from the last 5 months.

From the sounds of your post, that is what we are asking you for; a proof of address in order to be able to process and issue your new card.
