That is an incredibly unbalanced sentence considering what a rapist might be sentenced.. People will be in and out of prison for murdering someone before this guy is up for parole.

Also, try not to forget the responsibility of the morons who decided to upload the pictures. Where's there punishment? Are we to assume that they were mindless followers of this evil?

Just strip him of all his wealth, it's stupid jailed a non violent person for 18 years. Costing taxpayers 60k a year. Is it any wonder the state is going broke and you get more raised taxation. So why punish yourselves as taxpayers.
I understand.... reading is difficult for you twats. Try reading the article or even understanding what he was doing and found guilty of. Or have someone read it to you.

If he did 100 murders then he would get 1800 years.
Do you understand the concept of "multiple charges"?

As Blackmonster pointed out this guys is only getting 8 months for each felony charge. He did way more damage to some of his victims than that 8 months represents.

And this was a criminal business plan from the start. He got what he deserved.

I have a site empireamateurs.com "community site" which I don't want to go down this road - I'm seriously thinking of buying content and stuffing the members area with it or should I just work with a company to do it

            Any suggestions?

You don't get "big buyer discount" in US?

In here the sentence is considered as a whole. Not simply looking from some chart like in McDonalds; "That will make xxxx amount, please."

"Only 8 months" is by the way almost a year. You don't have very many years in your life.

Exactly, and by setting up a business based on ruining other peoples lives you should be ready to deal with the consequences.

He should feel lucky someone didn't hunt him down and deal with him personally.

Moore wasn't charged or convicted of extortion, a much more serious felony crime.

You can make up any punisment by reasoning like that. "He knew what he did" (like throwing cigarette butt on ground), or "Deal with the consequences" (there is no justice in here, deal with it).

So, how he actually ruined other people's lives? I thought he had some porn site, not hitman service.

If someone would have "dealt with him personally", I trust that he (the dealing guy) would have been sentenced for it. You have so called developed country, right?

Do a search on the trial, see what his victims said. Publishing private photos with links to that persons Facebook profile and other social media, place of employment, etc. with the intent to cause enough damage that the woman would pay hundreds of dollars per photo to have them removed.

Takes a pretty callous destructive personality to target women like this.

Note; he's eligible for parole in 10 years.

                          Agreed

The victims should direct their anger at whoever betrayed them by using their intimidate photos and uploading them. Somebody broke their trust. This guy is a dick for not taking the photos down but he didn't go into peoples computer and steal those photos. He should be punished for providing the service not multiple charges.

What he did was create a website and solicit the photos for it with the intent to do enough damage with them that he could extort money from the women to have the photos taken down.

Extortion is a serious crime in the US.

The fact that anyone's (especially those working in this industry) defending this guy is baffling.
