    Ever since "Risky Business" I tested a Porsche and loved it but I'm totally out of touch the last few years. This is the latest Spyder and it seems really low priced considering past offerings.... what do you think of it?

      it's lower priced cause it's based on the Boxster, the previous ones were based on the 911

      and i'd rather take the regular Boxster - which btw drives excellent

                                      I like the fact that its manual gearbox only.......

                                      And who needs electric top? It's only good for showing off once in a while but it gets old fast but this is NOT a car for the UK where it might be sunny one minute and pouring down the next minute. You need a country where you can remove the top before you leave home and KNOW that its going to be sunny all day.

                                                  Don't rip on Boxsters too much. I wil admit, when they first came out I was thinking Miata or Z series BMW. Had a friend that had one. An enjoyable ride at a cost friendly mark with Porsche engineering behind it.

                                                  Anybody attempting to rip them a new asshole, well, hasn't driven one. That car is sexy and I wouldn't mind go-karting that mother fucker in and out of traffic.
