JJ...neither of those guys are "pioneers" in any way, shape, or form.

Many of us online were making millions before those guys ever owned a computer. Not to mention that they are both about 40 years too late to be a "pioneer" in the actual adult industry.

Luke Ford has never done anything but write gossip columns about porn. Rob Black at least shot porn. But again...both of them got in the game about 20 years back. Hardly pioneers.

The modern day pioneers were guys like Hefner, Guiccione, and of course Flynt in the magazine era.

And believe it or not...Andy Warhol of all people was a true pioneer in porn. He directed "Blue Movie" also known as "Fuck" in 1969 which was the first porn movie to get wide theatrical release!
Now THAT is being a pioneer!

Anyway, just wanted to point that out.

The word "pioneer" gets thrown about a lot and it doesn't really apply to most of the people being credited that way.

Now a guy like Gerard Damiano...THAT is a true porn pioneer. He directed "Deep Throat"

Rob Black? Luke Ford? They were still peeing the bed when the real pioneers of the adult industry were shocking the world.

Yes Robbie I definitely had some tongue in cheek there.

Ford and Black do have their own somewhat ridiculous place in history. For them to agree on Trump is rather remarkable in my opinion.

I love the history of this industry. Do you ever check out The Rialto Report? They do a fantastic job at archiving and presenting important history. The podcast with Jim South is a must listen.
