besides, my point was we (the 99.999999999%) aren't the ones who did this. it was the one guy who's done it before, the OP needed to point his finger at that guy, the guy he considers family. |

And thanks GRAPESODA.. disreguard Metaman.. even his logo is full of hate. I remember when i was 10 and called people fat. Maybe he hasnt seen me since ive lost 50 pounds. 6ft 2 and 230 isnt that fat. Just lighly chubby. But Id like to see him walk up to me at a trade show, come to my face and say those things to me directly insteady of the safety of his home. But I love you MetaMan Im sure youre an awesome dude.

Being a full time internet tough guy like myself takes hours of training in the gym and banging non stop hotties when the ladies finally get (beg) to see the face behind the legend. id walk into the trade show with a cut off polo, arms bulging from just hammering out a few sets of bicep curls and walk around the place like i owned it. Im a bad bad mon. |

amacontent, were you able to get the business done and the deals made you intended at tpf or did this episode get in the way of any of that?

Very classy, just the type of person I wanna do buisness with and comments like that are what the public views us as. Very well said. |

and no, that's not my point. my point(s) are, while the thread you started makes sense, it comes across as misguided due to the wording you chose in an attempt to keep waht's his face anon. when you used the term "you" you are pointing your lecture at most everyone who did not act like a child and do not act like a child at shows. while you may be over-reacting and i get that, to me, it's simply was a matter of your choice of words in your OP. my question re: you getting business done was to try and point out that tpf is a monster success, in spite of 1 guy acting up. i'm just not convinced an isolated drunkard event such as this is as big a deal as say, a donny pauling. You feel it's a big reflection and i get that. but what i wrote isn't about your character, it is only about how you chose to word your op. that's where I'm coming from. |

People get drunk and wasted like Forest stated, since the very first show. I've seen people pass out, seen people throw up, even seen one or two fights. It's tapered off as the industry matured, but it still happens, and I don't see how it surprises anyone at this point. |
who was the dude that threw the chair out of the high rise building at the FL show? i forget his name

Shows back in the day had shit like this all the time. One example was Wiseman throwing all of this balcony furniture off a high floor at the Diplomat into the pool. Someone could have been seriously hurt or even killed I remember stuff like this at the vegas shows in the early 2000's Again this is nothing new. Stupid people get drunk and will do stupid shit. |

:thumbsup |
How about the time someone ordered like 5 bottle of cristal and a bunch of surf and turfs from room service and billed it to someone elses room number
ahhh the old days :1orglaugh |

Another example I walked up to Lensman at the 2003 or 04 Vegas show and called him a pussy for banning me from GFY and told him to go fuck himself and his board. He un banned me after the show
I however was stone cold sober at the time :1orglaugh |

Shows would not be the melodramatic spectacles that they are without incidents like these.

Wow... didn't hear a thing about this. Glad I missed it too.
Little I hate more than someone who gets belligerent because they can't handle their booze / drugs / personal shit / etc. Honestly whoever does this... just stay home. |

And yes, the adult industry conventions USED to be pretty wild. Not so much anymore. But the mainstream conventions? They are off the hook wild. You want to see crazed drunks doing stupid shit and tons of cocaine & actual high priced hookers? Go to most any other business convention EXCEPT adult and you'll find it in spades. LOL! That's what conventions are. An excuse for people who lead boring lives with boring jobs to get drunk for 3 days. Only in the adult industry do we feel the need to try and take ourselves so seriously at a freakin' convention. Maybe it's just overcompensating for the way society already views us? |

People expect us to be wild as hell...and then they are kinda disappointed by how lame it really is. :1orglaugh And you're right about car salesmen. My youngest brother is one. And I can tell you that 90% of them are drug addicts/alcoholics. I know plenty of them. They party HARD. And that's just in their regular work week. At a convention? They would be off the chain! |

Many of us already lead fulfilling lives in this biz and love what we do. I barely feel the need to drink much at shows anymore. |
