Since you are a Finnish guy, I'll tell you a secret: the number of Suomi that live in Russia is almost the same as in Finland (3.7 millions here vs 4.8 millions there). Not even mention other nations.
My wife is 50% Russian, 25% Ukrainian and 25% Polish. Her brother is Tatar (by his father). My sister's husband is Chuvash, my friend is Jew, etc.. And you call us Nazi?

Actual Finnish folks have quite much stayed in Finland, due the constant wars with Russia. Who the fuck wants to live in the enemy's side? If nothing else, that has made the divide. If you feel like Finnish, you move to Finland, and if you feel like Ruskie, you live in Russia. When it is the shooting time, it doesn't count that much that you are Finnish-related. Ruskie translates in Finnish as ryssä, and we have saying "Ruskie is a ruskie even if you would fry it with a butter." It might be a tad obvious that we don't separate Ruskie from Ruskie. If you are from or live in Russia, you are Russian aka ruskie aka ryssä. But you can become as Finnish by moving into here (Finland) and due time become established as Finnish, or at least your children or grandchildren will be (and I don't mean citizenship, I mean in ethnic sense).Comment
