i don't believe in life after death, so why not.
Also if your brain is dead (legal definition of death), it's useless
oh yah, without the computer, your brain would be totally useless. or are you saying, why not go for cyborg since your brain is useless?

i'm figuring it would have to be pretty quick after you died.
so you're saying you'd rather go piecemeal kinda thing, insides only? i didn't think of that, all your internals replaced with machines and computers but you still have muscles and arms and legs? i think i'd go with the all the optional upgrades! i could just put a shirt on when i didn't want to show off.
I am reading a cool sci fi story about this now. In the story they call it rekindled.
I would vote for yes
rekindled, great word for it. what got me thinking about it was watching the robocop reboot, i think how they portrayed his acceptance of becoming a cyborg was totally why the movie was so shitty.

That would be ideal. But, if that wasn't possible I'd want my brain to be put in the robocop suit before I died. If I had terminal skin cancer for instance.
