    Paysite owners: how to upgrade members from Trial to Full membership?

    Hi guys. This is a question to affiliate programs/paysite owners.

    When you sell a Trial membership and then surfer wants to upgrade. How do you upgrade him? Do you send him to billing page again or something?

    We have a custom page where customers confirm that they want to upgrade and then the script tries to upgrade them (since we already have all their billing info). But sometimes such upgrades fail, maybe because Bank is blocking such transactions.

    Anyway, what's the best way to do it?

          Automatic after 24 hours or 7 days or whatever it is. Otherwise just put a big button they can click to upgrade. No form, too much work. This is from my mainstream experience i do not operate an adult paysite.

              Yes, this is how I want it set up.

              So how would that button work? Pull up his billing info from the database and send to the biller through script? Or link the button directly to Biller gateway?

                      Never stand in the way of customers paying you. Believe it or not many do not understand this principle.

                      Regarding implementation... when someone signs up for a trial, the card info is all on file already. I would think you would query CC Processing via api and tell them to upgrade by user ID number. Probably best to ask billing company the specifics at this point.
