I hike or mountain bike our local trails with the Nikon. Fresh air, exercise, amazing scenery and if I'm lucky...a few good pics along the way.

Never fails to clear the mental cobwebs.

I just bought the D7100 last week and I just can't get the umph to really check it out. I also bought my first speedlight flash but I wont get that til April 6 - but that will probably get me a little more stoked.

It's like that in between weather here. ALMOST nice but not quite nice enough to be out for too long.

BOOOO. This will be a better week I'm sure. Just wayyyyy too much activity in my life for me. I'll fake it til I make it though.

I'd like to see some of your scenery photos.

One of my favorites from a hiking trip last year.

So, I still wasn't sure what a mental health day was. Google says I should celebrate it on 10/10 each year. This year I might go out on the lake. Maybe go to the woods for a hike. Hopefully run into theking and tell him gfy is dying without him.

Thanks, but I no longer publish my pics online these days.

I dunno what the rest of yous are talking about. Mental health day is like a spa day or something? Seems important to keep your mind strong, cope with stress and prevent stroke. (it's like a heart attack for your brain!)

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Love the K Kings!

Sorry but never heard of a mental health day but back before porn I worked a factory job. I'd sometimes work 14 or 21 days straight and take a day off to get drunk and sleep.. Also did 17 twelve hour days in a row and then I skipped drinking and just slept..

Good for you. Seriously. True artists tend to find the process of creating to be more rewarding than whatever happens upon completion. :thumbsup

I ignore all electronic devices including my phone. What I actually do can vary, but some things include reading for pleasure, yard work, physically leaving the house because I am here too much, a good workout, or a total "me" day with lots of pampering activities.

I would have definitely been out in the garden if it were nice. That's probably one of the most relaxing things for me during spring/summer. I can't WAIT to start tilling the ground and put my hands in the dirt! :banana

I just have flower beds, but I have the same feeling about doing it. It's therapeutic, and can really clear my head after a week of being plugged in.

I worked on clearing them out a little this weekend. I still have more to do. By the time I am done, it should be warm enough to strip and stain my deck, and get new flowers planted.

What kind of stuff do you plant?

I have a veggie garden and plant lots of veggies. This year I'm going to try canning some things.

I also had a new deck put on last year but I haven't stained it yet. I guess I will have to do that this year, but not sure what to use. This year I get to dress the deck up in flowers and I'm excited about it.

I am redoing the whole front of my house with new PRETTY FLOWERS but I don't know where to start with that one.
