          I put just one ordinary firecracker into a 5 gallon spackle bucket filled with water and it lifted it off the ground 3-6 inches. Insane.


          And it being China, just think of how much more that methane is concentrated in their sewage system.

                  Apparently it's a thing in china. Saw one video of a little girl being pushed back by the force of the blast and fell into the sewer after the manhole cover popped open. RIP.

                                                  In California anyway, you cannot legally take the lid off a manhole without testing for gas first. It only takes a spark from metal vs metal for it to go boom.
