Politics is all about the marketing. It's always been that way. The person who gets their message out properly to the most amount of people wins. It's just that simple.

Which party wins doesn't make much of a difference. If we had Romney and not Obama, and Obamacare never happened, would our lives be any different? Nope. We would still be paying too much for healthcare and people would still be bitching about it.

If Romney won, would our unemployment rate be 4.9% right now? Most likely it would.

It's all the same shit. The only that really matters at the end of the day is if the potholes get fixed. The rest is just noise.

I've said before that Trump says somethings I can agree with, but his constant pandering to the extreme right kills any possible support for him. That and the many dumb things he says.

I said it at the start, if Trump would have been more moderate he likely would be a serious contender. Trump out of all the candidates had the unique ability to cater to both sides of the aisle as he used to be a Democrat.

Instead he decided to act and do dumb shit to appeal to the far right crazies, which he's done a good job with. However, this pretty much throws any moderate or left support away.

I've said before that I was disappointed with this approach by him as prior to this, I felt maybe he could be what helps turn the Republican party around. Instead he's helping push it off the cliff and making it more radicalized.
