Oh fuck yes! I used to check stats many times a day and FREAK OUT when one day was worse than another etc. I was a newb who knew jack shit about anything so I learned along the way to take a step back from stats. Freak out is when you check your stats and you are DAMN CERTAIN the affiliate program owner is cheating your ass and the best solution would be to smuggle a taipan into the pants of the affiliate program owner.
When you're concerned that the snake ISNT venomous enough to put him out of his misery FAST ENOUGH to easy the pain of stats which are substandard!!!
When the taipan itself deserves to be DECAPITATED because the stats were so bad and he failed to do his job.

now imagine if i made a sale on first day specially with new program ?? i would think ohh they are really generous next time if no sale i will think they are bad , 3rd they are cheatinggg , 4th i should have not sent my traffic and probably crying??... lol
getting your self busy with other things does help too as you forget about the one concern u more
