    News Since Brassmonkey isn't here - No charges for Zimmerman

    No federal charges for Zimmerman in Trayvon Martin death

    The Justice Department said its independent investigation found "insufficient evidence" to charge George Zimmerman with federal civil right violations in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

    Attorney General Eric Holder said the evidence did not meet the "high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution," but the decision should not end efforts to explore racial tensions in the justice system. The decision closes the federal investigation.

                                                          But can we all agree Zimmerman is a little pussy loser who shouldn't be allowed to carry a firearm? Baddog, even you could take a look at this guy, and his "incidents" over the past couple of years and come to that conclusion.

                                                              I think it's unjust for the dead unarmed guy. Went told by the dispatcher not to follow the guy, he did, and to me that shows intent, not fear resulting in self defence. What he did was evidently legal in fucked up Florida lol

He has had run is with the law and domestic violence issues since this (and he had them before). It is like he didn't learn a lesson. He dodged a bullet, but instead of taking it as a hint to change he seems to be doing just the opposite.

                                                                                  I'd say half of Martin supporters will end up there too. So if Zimmerman fucks up, lock him up too. Just make sure he did break the law

                                                                                      I see no evidence at all that Zimmy violated anyone's civil rights. Zimmy did not set out that night with the intention of killing someone who was African American; He did not intentionally leave the house with killing any one.

                                                                                      I still disagree with the original court case. Zimmy stalked this kid, followed him, and intentionally put himself into a position where he wrongly believed his life was in danger. Everything Zimmy did was wrong from the start. You see someone doing something suspicious, you call the police - Not follow him around.

                                                                                      If you need to carry a firearm with you on a daily basis, you are either paranoid or need to move - or both.
